Emma Dorothy Conley

Emma Dorothy Conley is an artist and designer interested in multidisciplinary approaches to creative research and spectacular storytelling. With a focus on imagined futures, she creates practical and speculative work that aims to identify issues, present possibilities, and expand realities. Emma is currently a producer for the Center for Genomic Gastronomy and CoClimate. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bennington College and an MFA in Collaborative Design from the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

Science Partner


Dr. Guus Roeselers

Dr. Guus Roeselers works as a Senior Scientist in MSB group. In his research he applies the tools and theory of microbial ecology, genomics, and systems biology to characterize host-microbial relationships in the human gut. He is involved as a principal scientist in several international EU funded research consortia including the MyNewGut project (www.mynewgut.eu). Roeselers has (co)authored more than 30 scientific publications and has been an invited speaker to many international conferences.

Research Group


Microbiology & Systems Biology at The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) is active in food, pharma and industrial biotechnology. Their nutrition and health research expands to incorporating microbial ecology, ‘omics’ and systems biology methods and concepts. MSB has leading experts in the areas of host-microbe interactions, immunology, aging and metabolic aspects related to disease.
